Historic burnished steel Quadrella arrow point

Historical burnished steel glue-on point for wooden shafts.

The distinctive shape of the point’s ogive recalls the aggressive design of points historically used in battle.

Four grooves are machined into the ogive to give the point a sharp and penetrating profile. The internal profile is tapered, and the point can be easily secured to the shaft using a suitable adhesive.

The shafts must first be properly prepared with a tapered end using the dedicated Tipping Point Archery taper tool, which creates the correct taper for fitting the points.

The points are manufactured from steel and subsequently surface-treated using a burnish process, giving them their characteristic burnished finish while also protecting them against oxidation.
